Pet's Story or Bio
Where to start???? Willow (Pyr/husky) and Simon (Pyr) were both adopted from AGPR. They both love, love, love their neighbor who has spoiled them rotten by giving them treats at the fenceline. Both dogs can be at the furthest point in the house from the fence and sound asleep. They hear the neighbor open her deck door or filling up her bird feeders. And then watch out - we better open the door up quickly so can they fly off the deck, hurdle over the decorative boulders and get treats and love. It is sad that we don't feed them enough!!!
Simon is our loverboy/couch potato who is afraid of thunderstorms, gun shots and fireworks. He is all about chilling but must have his end of the sofa when he wants it. You can't give him enough hugs and kisses. And if you don't want to pet him when he is out walking, don't make eye contact. He is our "AGPR ambassador" at the local Petco. Loves, loves, loves his fan club!
Willow is our "wild child". She keeps our yard free of squirrels, helicopters, airplanes, drones and birds of prey. As for fireworks, gunshots and thunder? She isn't afraid but tries to "chase" the sounds away by barking and snapping at them. And she loves playing with her toys and throwing them at us when we aren't paying enough attention to her. Willow is excellent at catching flying green beans and carrots.
Love these two - one makes us laugh and the other loves our hugs and kisses. What more could one want?
