Pet's Story or Bio
Roman (fka “Hickory”) is a local neighborhood favorite in Northern VA and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This handsome gentle giant melts hearts everywhere he “roams” (on a leash of course!) and has come a long way since his AGPR rescue. He’s now the first to hop in the car for rides and the last one to want to get out. Roman’s favorite activities include long walks through wooded trails and along the Chesapeake Bay shoreline, protecting fence lines from any and all critters, digging and tending to his growing number of “pyr pits”, letting his owners know the mailman has arrived every single day, snoozing along sunset boat rides, and patiently waiting for milkbones from the nice ladies at the local coffee shop.
