Pet's Story or Bio
Our second Pyr from AGPR, Beau was selected for us by Victoria and it was love at first sight. He’s as sweet and goofy as he is handsome. He was abandoned by previous owner due to his seizures and need for daily medication. He came to us six months after we lost our boy, Jude. Beau does not have a mean bone in his body - he loves all people and animals. He literally stops traffic on our walks, and people love to pet him (which he much appreciates). His best friend is our 90 year old neighbor Kay, and his favorite treats are popcorn and homemade sourdough bread! Unlike most Pyrs he NEVER barks. We have taken lots of weekend trips during Covid, and he comes everywhere with us exploring the mountains of North Carolina. He loves the cool weather, and drinking cold creek water is about his favorite thing in the world. He’s our favorite thing in this crazy world and we can’t imagine our lives without him. We are so grateful to AGPR and Victoria for all the work that they do rescuing these most precious and majestic animals!
