Pet's Story or Bio
Bart came to his forever home from the Goochland animal shelter in August 2024. He was picked up roaming the streets of southwest Virginia in June and was not in good shape. Southside SPCA neutered and chipped him, gave him shots and cleaned him up. He was only 85 pounds at a year and a half old. After three months with no hope of being adopted, they transferred him to Goochland in August. The day Goochland posted his picture with the name "Big Kahuna", a friend sent me the picture and within minutes, we were there to bring him home. He didn’t seem unhappy to have his name changed! Bart is such a wonderful addition to our family, and we love him dearly. He has become the “love dog” of our neighborhood. He is now a 125-pound healthy, happy and well-loved doggie!
