Likes: face rubs, snuggles, and salmon
Dislikes: having his pantaloons brushed (“How rude!”) and being made to come in out of the snow.

We adopted Eli three years ago and love him more every day. He is a friend to all creatures (except that darned mockingbird!) and hasn’t met a stranger. He adores our grandchildren, and they love him right back.

Eli was diagnosed with canine Lupus this spring, and now takes medication daily to manage it. He is doing well, and despite some lifestyle changes necessitated by his diagnosis, he has kept his sweet and sunny disposition.

Our deepest thanks to Victoria and Celeste and everyone else at AGPR for all they do to save sweet souls like Eli. ❤️
