Dixie was a rescued cat. The original owner didn't want to have cats and was going to drown her. We couldn't see a poor helpless cat go like that , so we took her into our house with open arms and sheltered her. And it is a very good thing we did take her in because she is one of the most loving, sweetest, gentlest, nicest, cats i have ever known. Two of her favorite things to do is lay on top of my siblings bean bags and play inside of boxes she is always in them. She is always wanting love and attention from anyone...even total strangers. She will nudge you and cuddle up against you and just be so sweet and cute. And even if you push or shove her away she will leave you be and not hold a grudge or be annoyed with you...which is one of her greatest atttibutes. We have other older cats, one of them thinks she is the queen around here. Dixie sometimes feels threatened and bullied by her. We are constantly saving her....but even with all of the stress she is still the same loveable Dixie. Nothing and no one can stop Dixie from being her and I hope it stays that way because there really isn't a cat like her. A lot of people say these same things about their animals, but Dixie, is truly one in a million.
