A little about me...
Olive came into our life March 17, 2019. A very lucky day for both her and I. She is the sweetest and gentlest little girl. She was found grossly underweight. She has scars on her hip prominences from years of laying on conrete and appears to have been overbred. She was diagnosed with a chemodectoma (heart tumor) and a mast cell tumor in Fall 2019. She has canine dental disease, and because of her heart tumor, she cannot undergo anesthesia for a dental. Her veterinarian and I have worked together to develop a plan to best treat her symptoms and continue to keep her Golden Years golden.
She loves to be near her people at all times. Even following me up and down the basement steps many times when undecorating our home after Christmas. She enjoys Saturday morning cuddles and cartoons. Olive loves to help with outside chores in the summer time, as well. She supervises and follows the lawn mower, ensuring the job is done correctly.
As two years with her is fast approaching, we are seeing her slow down. She has began taking more naps throughout the day. She is eating less, except for treats. She ALWAYS has room for treats. Even as we are watching her age, she continues to greet us with a classic Boxer wiggle butt. Olive is a spectacular dog who came into our lives at just the right time. As the saying goes, 'Who rescued who?'.
