A little about me...
It was fate that brought Roger into our lives. We had reached out to ADL inquiring about a senior pit bull, but as it turned out, she had already been adopted. Instead, they sent us a picture of a scruffy little dog named Roger who still needed a home. We fell in love immediately. When we met him on adoption day, he jumped right into our laps as if he was choosing us as his parents. He stole our hearts right then and there. Roger went from living in a shed and wondering the streets, to taking up the entire bed. He gets to spend his summers up at the lake in Northern, WI where he runs along the shoreline and through the woods and drinks from a giant water bowl (aka the lake). We also found out he LOVES boat rides! He has become the best “big” brother to our other adopted dog, Strawberry, and he loves to visit his grandparents on their farm where he plays all day with his two black lab cousins. He is a mama’s boy through and through! We like to say he transformed from “street dog to mama’s boy.” Roger has changed our lives in so many ways, and we can’t imagine our lives without him! There is no love like the love of a rescue dog.
