A little about me...
My name is Poppy and I love to smile now. Before being adopted, my life wasn't too fun. Albert's helped me get all my teeth removed, medications for my hips, and regularly check in with my vet about my collapsing trachea. I'm feeling much better and I don't let any of my health issues slow me down! My favorite place to be is outside in the sunshine. I perform my happy dance anytime there's food. My mom even plays my favorite song "Darlin'" by the Beach Boys when she gets my food ready because I'm just "too doggone outta sight"! It's taken me some time trust again, but my new neighborhood is filled with friends for me! I really like head scratches and I politely ask for them by giving my paw! I sleep next to my mom and scoot really close to her face and boop her in the forehead with my paw to wake her when I want attention. It's a great system! My sister has been a great example for me to follow. She taught me how to use the stairs, showed me the best spots at the dog park, and we love to cuddle in our blanket fort. With hair like mine, I'm at the groomers pretty often. They give me lots of treats, head scratches, and I get straight As on my report card! Things have been hard this year, but I couldn't be happier than I am with my family! We are so grateful for Albert's Dog Lounge for helping us find each other!
