Short story about your dog
I fostered Opal, her mom and littermates for HAWS back in 2016. They were transports from AL. Opal came to me with a broken leg and bad attitude on life, but she stole my heart and I couldn't let her go. It's been a long road to recovery for her and managing her anxiety isn't always easy. However, she's always got a kiss and a snuggle ready for her mom (ie me) and she is the silliest dog I know when she lets her guard down! I love her "Elvis" smile when I scratch her in just the right place, helicopter tail and silly spins when she gets excited. There's not a day that she doesn't make me laugh or bring me immense joy. My favorite feature of Opal's are her giant ears! Vote for my Opie Dopie! Thanks for your consideration!
