BokBok spent the first seven years of her life as an
Amish puppy mill breeder in Northern Minnesota, constantly impregnated for the dollars that her babies would bring.

Upon Rescue, this sweet and silly girl needed her soft palate cut back and her nostrils widened, just so she could breathe. Many of her teeth had also rotted away and needed to be removed.

After a year in her forever home, her family found out that this beautiful girl has a genetic disorder, called kidney dysplasia, which means that her kidneys never fully developed, and she will probably die young from kidney disease.

Despite everything, she is happy, well adjusted, and friendly. She loves belly rubs, climbing in the dishwasher, bows in her hair, being held like a baby, and snacks.
