Short story about your dog
Found on the streets of IN, he sick & barely hanging on. His eyes were in terrible pain, irritated from his eyelids rolling in & rubbing on his eyeballs. Despite the shelter reaching out to everyone, no one could help. He was facing euthanasia when we stepped in.

We named him Rolls. Even after a week of vet visits, bloodwork, fluids, we could not get him to eat; he was still fading. We rushed him to the ER, where it revealed a corn cob stuck in his abdomen—a foreign body he had likely eaten while trying to survive.

That was just the beginning. Rolls had to undergo a complex surgery, be neutered, and finally, both of his eyes removed to end his suffering. And if that wasn’t enough, we learned that Rolls didn’t even have femurs in his hip sockets. Despite it all, he kept fighting.

Rolls is thriving, pain-free, & living his best life. He will never have to worry about pain again, & he’ll never again know what it feels like to be hungry. His journey is a reminder of the strength, resilience, & love in the heart of a dog.
