A little about me...
Spay IL saved Rosie’s life! She was picked up by Kankakee Animal Control, a high kill shelter overwhelmed by pit bulls. She was so sweet that KAH reached out to Spay IL to rescue her. She was beginning her heartworm treatment the day I met her. It was love at first sight! Rosie is the best pit bull ambassador imaginable. Her gentle demeanor, smiling mug, and good manners (especially around other dogs) has won many over to her breed. We love the expression “who rescued who” because our lives are better because of her snuggles, the lessons she’s taught our daughters and us, and the adventures she’s led us on. Over the years, we have supported Spay IL because of the amazing work they do in the lives of pets and their people.
