A little about me...
Jake is a rescue dog from Missouri. He had two accidents when he was a pup. The first damaged his spine & left hind leg. The second damaged his left hind leg even more. At pretty much the last moment, a vet in Michigan agreed to do his surgery. He is dependent on his wheelchair to get around outdoors but does very well around the house and out in the yard. Because of the publicity of his saga when he was at the rescue in Missouri, then when he went for his amputation surgery, he has a whole lot of aunts and uncles. He’s done paw print paintings to help raise money for his rescue groups. He’s a photogenic ham, and also one of the happiest dogs I know. He will readily go up to strangers on our walks or trips to the store to meet and greet people, and always brings smiles to their faces. With a face as handsome as his, and a huge personality, I think he can sell anything!
