A little about me...
My name is Marshall and I'm a 4 year old Boxer mix who plays "Big Brother" to all of our foster dogs that we have had over the years! As a rescue from the kill list myself, i know what it means to find a forever home so I share my bed, toys, yard and even my food with every new foster that we have! I am the self-appointed Mayor of Kelly Park and warmly greet every man, woman, child, dog or squirrel that I encounter each day as I take my people on their walk. Everyone we pass says the same thing, "oh what a cute dog, can I pet you?" "Of course you can" I answer as I sit down to take it all in.

I'm pretty much a happy boy all the time, even when I am getting a bath or my shots with the staff at Spay Illinois! I love the water and swimming at the dog beach and jumping in the creek by the school after I chase my ball all over the place. It's hard to believe I was just dumped on the streets to fend for myself but I am so glad that I made it to my new house! I try to be a good boy to all the new stray friends that end up here. I show them the ropes, some good spots to water and let them know that everything will OK!
