A little about me...
Zora is an 8 year old Pitty mix adopted from Animal Welfare in Chicago Ridge when she was around 5 months old. We could all tell immediately that she was the perfect dog for our family. She bonded extremely well with my sister who was 3 at the time and she just sat on my lap outside enjoying the sun as it hit her beautiful golden brown coat. We considered ourselves to be really lucky by how well behaved she was, despite how many people talked poorly about her breed and especially about getting a dog her breed from Animal Welfare. However, there was no hesitation that she had to come home with us.
Ball is truly life for Zora, when the ball is out and it’s play time, there is absolutely zero quit in her. I realized that when she was around 6 months old and she played soccer with me in the yard, ears perked up higher than I had seen them and a huge puppy dog smile on her face. If you see Zora today, she still has the same puppy dog smile on her face with an orange and blue Nerf ball hanging out of her mouth at all times just waiting for the chance to play.
