A little about me... Gabby was about 14 years old when rescued from the middle of a busy street in Dallas by an off duty police officer. She was chipped but the owners had let her go and didn't want her back. She only had 3 teeth and they were rotten. When removing them, it was discovered that the decay was so severe that it went into the orbit of her eye and also had a broken jaw. She had to have major dental reconstructive surgery to repair the effects of long term neglect and abuse. As if that wasn't enough, she also had bladder crystals the size of dimes so she was living in chronic pain. Through all of her surgeries and recovery, she continued to be the sweetest girl, and despite the fact that she had been let down in the past, she trusted with her whole heart.
She travelled like a jet setter and thought every gathering of people was her debutante ball. She had loads of personality in her tiny body. Her bold confidence shined bright. Gabby woke up every morning in the best mood and hopped around like a baby goat to show her happiness.
Sadly, we lost Gabby on Christmas Eve. Our lives have been forever changed by a 5# super senior. She was about 17 when we she crossed the rainbow bridge. Gabby lives in the hearts of many who loved her. We miss her every day.
