A little about me...
It was a great Saturday day in 2017 - we decided a brew was in order and had heard amazing things about this brewery in Darien, called Miskatonic -- so off we went to check it out. Right next door, we observed there was The Dog District -- they had a sign out "adoptions available". After having an amazing brew, we decided to stop in and check out the pups. We immediately fell in love with a terrier named "Freddy"; and, he fell in love with us. We left but all we could think about was this amazing little guy who was up for adoption and was recovering from jaw surgery. DD had received him from another shelter and at the time his name was Jaws (due to the jaw issue). They had renamed him Freddy. We called DD back and said we're coming back for him. Thus, on May 6th, back we went to The Dog District and officially adopted him. We felt Rocky was an appropriate name for him due to his small off center smile (and, in tribute to a family member whose middle name was Rocco). We visit Miskatonic frequently and West Coast Wizard is our favorite brew! Rocky visits Miskatonic with us and the DD for a doggie pedicure or an overnight stay - they always welcome him back with open arms. We tell this story often - we went for a beer and ended up with a dog! Rocky says - vote for me!
