A little about me...
Barnie and was rescued as a kitten from a barn in rural Maryland. In 2020 he became an indoor cat and never looked back. Now he’s 3 and has since been enjoying big kitty life in Chi town. He also goes by “Barn Barn”, “Barnold”, “Barnacle”, and “Barn Baby.”
Barnie is a shy but affectionate kitty. His best friends are his mom and sister! They can stay to feed him and be licked! But new people scare him, so he likes to hide under blankets.
He doesn’t meow much, but when he’s happy he will lay on his back and start rolling around. Barnie will roll around almost anywhere! His favorite places to roll around are in the bathtub and brand new litter. He also rolls around in catnip and his overturned kibble.
When he exposes his white tummy it’s to show people that it is in desperate needs of rubs. (It looks soft but is actually firm and full of kibble.) In thanks he will very gently bite you. While cats tend to be known for their cold and disinterested demeanor, Barnie is the sweet and gentle baby we know lives inside every cat.
