A little about me...
Teddy is a purebred Maine Coon. Born on August 17, 2021 in Cedar Rapids, IA, she came into the world as a tiny baby but grew quick to be a large, majestic cat! She hurt herself at the age of 8 months, requiring surgery to fix the bi-lateral ACL tears in her legs (bi-cruciate in cats). She has since torn more ligaments in her knees and has mobility issues. For us to keep her in the best health possible and as mobile as possible, Teddy swims 1x per week, gets a chiro adjustment 1x per week, and gets laser therapy 2 x a week. This pic is her wearing the protective goggles from one of her laser treatments. She eats a special diet and is on a reduced feeding plan to help with weight loss. Through it all, she keeps such a positive attitude and greets every day with a big kitty smile! She loves swimming and we aim to increase her participation to 2x per week in the near future. She and her kitty brothers and sisters are the lights of our lives, and we wanted to share the joy of this funny picture with everyone to show how Teddy gets her physical therapy. Teddy may be slower than before, but she is still fierce and determined! We cannot imagine our lives without her and her siblings. :)
