A little about me...
Maisy is a one of a kind little lady! Rescued by One Tail at a Time after being found in a ditch in Arkansas in April 2024, I started fostering her 5 weeks after undergoing a major surgery of my own. As she quickly turned into my best (foster) “fail” ever, I helped her through heartworm treatment and other medical challenges as we recovered together- with days that we filled with snuggles, silliness, snacks, and so much devotion and love. Maisy is the epitome of joy- she loves her teacher at her training classes at A Sound Beginning where she earned her Canine Good Citizen certification, ADORES meeting human friends new and old, and at only 17 pounds has a best friend circle of rescue dogs of all sizes and ages. Maisy’s interests include visits with her “grandpaw,” Midwest hotel stays, wearing comfy dresses, building the tallest blanket piles, and she absolutely delights in leisurely fall days spent on a brewery patio. More than anything, as a therapy dog and resilient friend of everyone she meets, Maisy finds happiness in making people smile.
