A little about me...Meet Don Juan—the life of every party and the perfect Spokesdog for Ales for Tails! While he may have a feisty streak, his heart is pure gold. His signature full-body wiggles, contagious smile, and love for people make everyone he meets feel like a friend.
Don Juan’s journey makes him even more special. We adopted him at almost three years old from Border Tails Rescue after he was picked up as a stray by Chicago Animal Care and Control. Shelter life wasn’t easy for him, but thanks to our wonderful friends who fostered him, he got the second chance he deserved. The moment we met him, we knew he belonged with us. We recently did a DNA test and were surprised to learn he’s a mix of Chihuahua and Miniature Schnauzer, with a little Poodle and Bichon Frise—just as unique as his personality!
Whether he’s riding shotgun on a road trip, exploring the park, relaxing at the beach, visiting a brewery, or cheering at a sporting event, Don Juan is always ready for an adventure. He loves belly rubs, long walks, sniffing every new scent, tasty treats, and spending time with his favorite people.
Don Juan is more than a great dog—he’s a rescue success story who brings joy wherever he goes. He’s proof that every rescue dog deserves a chance to shine, and he’d be honored to represent Ales for Tails with every smile and wag.
