This little girl was rescued from North Carolina where she spent most of her beginning life in a chicken coop with her sister. When Piper was first rescued, she was lovable but extremely fearful of new people. When she met her humans, Leah and Paul, they had to sit with her in their arms for an hour just to calm her down! Since being adopted, Piper has found a close-knit family that she loves to protect and cuddle with, and she loves to give many kisses. She is best at snuggling and being a pillow for her humans' heads. She has learned to share toys with her big sister lab, Bella, but when she is feeling frisky she knows where to hide them. Her favorite pastimes include stealing toys, having big ears, and sleeping on the bed.
