Tyler crossed “The Rainbow Bridge” last night after 15 years as my constant companion and best friend.

A Georgetown sorority sister adopted Tyler from a shelter, but after 2 months of the sorority life Tyler became mine. A Deerhound, Husky, Retriever, Border Collie mix, she was sweet, funny, affectionate, gentle, energetic, and always enthusiastic! As a puppy her day began at 4:00 am by dropping a tennis ball in my face, or squeaking a toy on my forehead. She was very smart and learned to sit in 5 minutes, and was house broken in less than a week. She had an endless supply of energy, and enjoyed chasing balls and Frisbees, walks, hiking, and traveling. She loved chasing deer and was quite the “squirrel girl”. She loved all dogs and people, but especially her beagle brother, Sherlock, who we lost 2 years ago. Tyler went everywhere with me, and especially looked forward to going to work every day. She was a wonderful companion and my best friend, and I will miss her very much.
