Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Bill (formerly "Miles") from AWLA in 2008. He had been there for a while - found as a stray, he had been shaved (including his tail!) due to matted fur :( poor thing was not exactly a looker. But my husband and I fell for him immediately - bald tail and all! We both felt an instant indescribable connection. I am not exaggerating when I say that Bill was the best cat EVER. Ultra snuggly, loved everyone (even strangers), super well-behaved, greeted you at the door. Even our most staunchly anti-cat friends have admitted to adoring Bill. We had him for 4.5 glorious years before he was diagnosed with IBD. Within 5 months of that diagnosis, despite treatment, he developed a large, aggressive intestinal lymphoma, and we had to say goodbye to our precious boy. There will never be another quite like him. We'll always miss you, Bill!
