Your Pet's Story or Bio
I was fortunate to meet and bring home Summer at the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter in the summer of 2008. When I saw this sweet little face I knew she was the one.

Our 10 year old bichon had fallen depressed and we felt she needed a companion. I visited the shelter every weekend and then one day I found Summer. She has brought so much joy into our home and helped Jazzy enjoy a long life until this past spring when she passed at 17. Summer is so friendly to everyone she meets, she is loving and playful and we are so happy she is part of our family. Summer brings joy to all she meets.
We are now looking for a companion for Summer and hope we can find a new family member at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
