Vinnie had a very "ruff" start. He was discarded on the side of the road with severe head injuries. Luckily, he was saved by the Alexandria Animal Welfare League. After tons of love, care, and attention from the AWL team, he began to improve -- he even started to play with tennis balls and his first squeaky toy! After such a miraculous improvement, Vinnie was put up for adoption so that his medical care could continue in the comfort of his own forever home. Since being adopted, Vinnie has undergone brain surgery at Southpaws to fix his little head. He is now on the mend and showing signs of improvement each day. His love of tennis balls has grown -- he now has a bucket full! But he still sleeps with the squeaky toy he recieved while at AWL, fondly remembering where he got his second "leash" on life!
