Your Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Emma when she was 9 1/2. She was extremely nervous and scared, as her family had given her up, and she didn't trust strangers. She became a resource guarder of articles of clothing/towels/toys.....but, only those that she "stole." After a year, I did not know what to do....she had bitten me a few times, because my dumb butt was nor reading her body language correctly!; and we were not making any head way in the bonding department.

Then, I found Fur Get Me Not in Arlington! We started with confidence building classes, then started Canine Nose Work classes. What a difference another year makes! She has been bite free for over a year, I have learned how to read a dog's body language much better, and we have a great bond!

Emma is now ready to compete in nose work, I am becoming a trainer for behavior modification, as well as a Certified Canine Nose Work Instructor...so, I can help others in need!
