Our cat came to us originally as a foster kitten. But the minute he and my daughter saw each other, that changed. Our family has always had pets, but I'd never seen her form a bond with any other animal like the one she has with him. She named him Jackie Chan after her favorite action hero and they became best friends. An autistic adult, she has moved into a shared apartment with drop-in support since this photo was taken. She 's anxiously anticipating the day that Jackie Chan can join her there.
