My name is Seven. I was left abandoned at a rest stop in New Jersey in 2001. I was brought to Warrenton, VA by someone who was passing through the rest stop. He decided not to keep me so I was left at the Warrenton animal shelter. My soon-to-be mommy came to a shelter benefit, and one of her friends who lived in Warrenton mentioned that there was a shih tzu for adoption (her favorite breed). As soon as she saw me, she knew she had to adopt me. The minute my quarantine was lifted, she was at the shelter waiting for it to open. She took me home to Alexandria that day. I was so happy to have food and shelter and a safe home. I have had a very happy and healthy life since that day.
