Angus came into our lives in January. Two months prior, we had lost our cat Maggie very unexpectedly and were heartbroken. The holidays were very difficult without her, and I knew it was time to open our home to another animal that needed one. I met Angus at an adoption fair held by Animal Allies. I always thought Maggie needed an orange brother, and this little guy was just so sweet--he was washing all of the other kittens in his cage. We took him home and named him after Angus Young of AC/DC. Like his namesake, Angus is full of personality and can be quite naughty. Yet, he runs to meet me every morning when I come out to have my coffee, purring so loudly like a motorboat. He loves his people so much, and we love him for the everyday little joys he brings to our home.
