Some time after our tuxedo cat Dewey passed away, my husband Ralph and I decided that our remaining cat Charlotte might get lonely. So, we went back to the AWLA to look for a new sister or brother for her. As soon as her cage was open, Annie jumped onto my shoulder and made it clear that we must take her home. We originally called Annie "pirate cat" because she had one eye closed shut due to a injury received before the shelter took her in, but an operation fixed that. Now she is a cutie pie--AND she knows it! ; )
