Hi, my name is JEWEL
I had a horrible start to life. My 3 siblings tragically passed right in front of my eyes and I was next to go. Fortunately, the heroes of Rutherford Animal Hospital saved me just in time. It’s unclear how I was injured but sadly I have a broken pelvis and impaired hind legs. I’m recuperating nicely though. I am pretty sedentary currently but I will most likely be able to function normally when I recover. I can take a few steps already all by myself!!!

Jewel is now 3 years old and has a slight limb. That doesn’t stop her. She a ball of fire and runs and jumps like no ones business. Her favorite past time is harassing her beagle sister, Layla.
