Oscar was a stray cat that we took in 12 years ago on the night of the Oscars. We thought "she" was a "he", hence the name Oscar. Once we took her to the vet and figured out the truth, the name had stuck. She has been our faithful companion ever since and rarely leaves our side when we are home.
