Louis was adopted from a no/kill shelter. He was labeled a permanent resident of the shelter because of his special needs. He had been returned twice.. The first time he lived in a home for seven years when the man decided that he simply did not want Louis anymore. The second time he was returned after two years because he urinates outside the litter box. Louis had been living in the shelter foralmost three years when we fell in love with him. A little bit of urine does not make us love him less. Louis is in his forever home.
