They let their human get out every now and then to perform various volunteer duties at Alley Cat Advocates. They also assist when he is at home cutting paper plates that hold the cat food bait used in the trap task of the whole trap, neuter, return process. Well, that assistance is typically in the form of more naps...thereby leaving the human free to slice the bait plates.
