Enter a Photo of your pet with a required $10 donation per photo. You may enter as many categories as you choose. All photos will appear online, where the public can vote for their favorite photos.
Simultaneous submissions and voting periods begin on April 30th 9am CT and end May 14th 9pm CT. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends May 14th 9pm CT.
To submit photos, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast or sharpness adjustments).
Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery.
Votes are $1 each and are donations to The Animal League of League of Birmingham. When you donate to vote, you will receive a "bank" of votes for the amount of your donation (ex. $5 donation equals 5 votes) that then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place them on multiple entries. Each donation has a required $5 minimum. You can vote as many times as you'd like. Vote early, vote often, and insist your friends and family vote as well!
All votes are donations to The Animal League of League of Birmingham and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt. Mailed paper receipts can be requested by emailing
theanimalleagueofbirmingham@gmail.com.
All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed, in real time, online. The winner of ALOB's Sit. Stay. Home. , our Quarantine Cutie, will be selected by a panel of judges from the top 2 photos in each category and will be announced within a week of the contest's conclusion.
Proceeds from ALOB's Quarantine Cuties will be used to support community projects during this time of need and assist local rescues and underserved shelters.
