Misty was a throw away. She found a missing stone in the foundation of our 200 yr old home which was located under our deck and unknown to us was living in the crawl space under the kitchen. We first saw her walking in the mist on a chilly Feb day. Then little kitty tracks appeared in the snow on our deck. We began leaving food for her and on a warm spring day she came above the deck with her 3 kittens. She adopted us. We brought her and her kittens to Angel's for Animals to have them checked and spayed. Misty has been a valuable family member ever since. She came into our home and our hearts and remains there today. She's very spoiled.
