Jimmy's litter of five kittens was born during the night at Angels for Animals 14 years ago. His mother was brought in as a stray and the litter was born overnight. The other four kittens did not survive but Jimmy was a fighter even though he contracted Chlamydia which caused permanent eye damage. Sadly, Jimmy passed away after 14 years of being my constant companion. Newborn kittens are extremely susceptible to disease and being born in a shelter is always a risk.
