Honey Dew is a rescue from a litter born just two days after her mother, a black lab, was abandoned at a shelter in North Carolina. She was adopted as a puppy but later returned when the family realized that raising a puppy required more work than expected. Without hesitation, we welcomed her into our home, and for the past six years, she has been nothing but a sweet, joyful companion.

Honey Dew may be smaller of our three dogs in the house, but she proudly rules over her two much larger chocolate lab sisters with undeniable royal authority. Size means nothing to her—she is, and always will be, the head princess, calling the shots with charm, confidence, and just a touch of sass.
