For more than three years, I visited shelters hoping to find the perfect kitty to love. I always believed that when the right one came along, I’d know.

Then, completely out of the blue, a coworker reached out to me and said, “A little birdie told me you’re looking for a forever kitty.”
She explained that her parents, who lived about 40 minutes away, had found a precious little girl kitten who had wandered onto their property. They took her to the veterinarian, where she was examined, tested, and cared for. Based on the vet’s evaluation, they estimated she was about three months old.

I immediately agreed to schedule a time for my son and me to meet her.

The moment we saw her, it was love at first sight. We both fell completely in love with this tiny, sweet kitten.
