A little about me...
I got Annie from Angel’s Retreat one year ago today, her unofficial birthday, when AR had a spot at the Brandywine Arts Festival. They had just pulled her from a puppy mill. She had failed to reproduce in her two years there and AR convinced the puppy mill owner to let her go since she wasn’t “making them any money”.
It took her about 3 months to be comfortable enough to not want to be in the corner in our library . She had the saddest eyes. She still was skittish with my husband at 6 mos. One year later, she’s amazing! I can let her off the leash and she comes when called, she’s a great running buddy, and she and my husband share French fries from McDonald’s. My daughter said “now Annie smiles”. I love her so
much and I thank AR for rescuing her for me.
