Laverne spent 3 1/2 years at Animal House Shelter. We understand she was a favorite. We met Laverne on Dec 5, 2011 and agreed to foster. Right away she stole our hearts. During that first year we grew concerned about losing her to another family. We then knew it was time to adopt and seal the deal. On Dec 21, 2012 we officially adopted Laverne, also know as "Verni". We spoil her as much as we can. She has three beds, loves her yard and daily walks. Everyone who meets Laverne easily loves her like we do. Laverne looks as if she is smiling. I personally enjoy hearing her snore. It assures me that she is content.
