This is Abel Henry...Our Little Miracle! Abel was born to one of my foster mommas who was rescued by Animal House Shelter. Abel would not nurse, so I bottle fed him...he was diagnosed with a cleft palate at 4 1/2 weeks old. I bottle fed him until he was 3 months old, when he had surgery to repair his cleft palate. After taking this journey with him, I could not imagine my life without him and made him a permanent member of our family. As if his cleft palate was not enough, Abel had additional dental surgery to remove some malformed teeth, surgery to remove an intestinal obstruction and was diagnosed with Addison's disease last year. Abel will be 3 years old in December and he is just perfect! He is a little miracle! God blessed my life the day Abel was born!
