Adopting Koda was truly meant to be. When our daughter Greta was 2, she made up nonsense words to describe things and her favorite word for many objects and feelings was Koda! We lost our beloved chocolate lab Mudd when he was 13 years old last December, and were waiting for a sign that it was time for us to be done mourning and move on with a new puppy in our home. When we saw this adorable little girl named Koda online, we knew it was fate and exactly the sign we were looking for. She is now a true member of the family. As we'd never had a mixed breed before, we did the Embark DNA test with Koda for fun. Our "boxer mix" turned out to be everything but boxer - she's pitbull, Great Pyrenees, and Great Dane! We love everything about her!
