The moment I laid eyes on this sweet girl I knew I found my perfect match. With her 2 different colored eyes and heart mark on her nose. She just gushes love. She walked over with her whole body waging and a smile across her face.

They told me she had heartworm and I had no clue how this would all turn out. No walks. No running. No excitement for months. So I decided she needed to come home with me and we would figure it out together. That is exactly what we did.

She chose her name from a list I said to her. Hina is the name of a Polynesia moon goddess. Known for her beauty and fierceness. Very fitting.

Now I can't imagine my life without her.

While I hoped to help heal her heart... she was healing mine.
