We adopted Riley the end of June of this year. We as family agreed we were ready to have another dog in our home. We went out to Animal House Shelter with the intention of getting a lab puppy. There were several that were up for adoption. Unfortunately, we were down the list a bit and by the time it was our turn all the puppies had found homes. My daughter had seen a small black lab named Peanut on the web site. We asked if Peanut was there at the facility. She was, and we went out in the yard to meet her. Peanut/ Riley ran right up to my daughter. Riley was so happy to come home with us. She is so smart and has been such a joy to have in our family. We go on walks everyday and she has made many dog friends in the neighborhood.
