Puma is a 6 year old Dachshund Jack Russel mix. He was a bit under developed. I got him from AHS at 6 months old. He has 1 underdeveloped eye, his other eye has a detached retina so he has limited vision, and he is completely deaf. Puma stole my heart the minute he put his head in my hands. Puma doesn't let his issues stop him. He acts like a normal dog and enjoys interacting with the family pack which is currently 7 dogs. He loves cats and kids and his sister a pit mix we also rescued named Kiara. Kiara helped us to train Puma on a few signs to help him learn some commands. I think Puma would be a great addition to the calendar. As an AHS Alumni and as a special needs pup. Plus look at how cute he is!
