I adopted Zoey (Daffodil) from the Animal House Shelter in February 2016. My life drastically changed from that day on. Zoey was abused, skinny, and scared. We bought her toys, she didn't even know to put them in her mouth. She slept with me every night acting as my pillow. Having a pit, I encountered many problems with how society views them. Places have turned me down because she was a pit. Rescuing her has taught me pits are gentle and loving. She's my best friend, and we do everything together. I didn't rescue her, she truly rescued me.
