Mina was adopted from AHS back in early 2018. My husband had grown up with dogs, but I hadn't, so we were at AHS that day just to get me used to different types of dogs. She was the first one we looked at. She was the only one we looked at. Things were crazy in the office that day and we ended up waiting with her for a few hours. Normally, under these circumstances my husband would have lost his patience with humanity. But with Mina by his side, he was calm and relaxed. I knew looking at the two of them sitting together that this was our dog. She has been by our sides, playing, herding, guarding, and keeping us calm ever since.
